Mrs. Kamla Jain is a visionary inthe field of education. She is apost graduate in English from Government College, Ludhiana. She has complete her Academic Diploma in Education from London, England. She also acquired a British Scholarship in Education at Emerson College, Essex, London and Prabhakar in Hindi from Government College, Ludhiana. She had also been the founder Principal of Kundan Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana. She founded Saraswati Modern School on May 7, 1967 in the Punjab Agriculture University
Campus.
The school moved to its present location in March 1972. The school is affiliated to Punjab School Education Board, Mohali upto Secondary classes. She strongly feels that the way to a child's development is through purposeful activity initiated by changing trends. The young especially have to be guided
properly, so that their lives find aproperdirection and theircreativity and personality are allowed to flower. She has been awarded 'Rashtriya Rattan Award' for her Out- standing work in the field of education.
